Sony a6400 is a APS-C format Mirrorless camera from camera giant Sony. While DSLRs are more popular with professionals, if you need a camera just for family photography, mirrorless cameras are a great bargain.

First of all, they’re not as bulky as digital SLRs. Second, they can take photos at a higher rate, and third, they are better at video than DSLRs. DSLRs are said to reign supreme when taking photos of fast moving subjects and in low light conditions. However, the difference is not that significant. Nowadays, you can buy any type and be satisfied with it for all purposes, such has been the advancement in digital camera technology.

Among the mirrorless cameras on the market, the Sony a6400 is the highest echelon. The camera is only available in basic black and includes a built-in pop-up flash, electronic viewfinder, and hot shoe. Finding all three is a rarity in a mirrorless camera. Sony says the a6400 is only protected from the elements, but is “not guaranteed to be 100% dust and moisture proof.” So, don’t take it out in the pouring rain; a little drizzle is unlikely to harm your camera.
