The Huawei Petal Travel app is now getting a new update that adds support for more destinations. Until now, the app was only accessible in a few cities in China. But now it has extended its terms to other parts of the country.

According to reports, a new Chinese city named Hangzhou has taken its place in the list of cities supported by the app. Therefore, users will find a total of four areas in the app, including Beijing, Shenzhen, Nanjing, and Hangzhou. Alternatively, this list of regions will receive new additions in the coming times.

The new corresponding application update is coming with the version 2.3.0.222 and carries a small package of 71 KB. However, before upgrading the app to the latest version, users need to delete the cache data of the old version.

To do this, you can visit the Settings menu. Then scroll down and select Application Management. Click on the Quick Application Centerand select the Storage option. Press on Delete data and give a few moments to let the app delete all the details.

For your information, this deletion will not eliminate any of your historical searches. Things will stay pretty much the same and kept on the app. Still, usage records and other irregular stuff from other quick apps will be omitted.

Petal Travel needs your permission!

At the beginning of July, Huawei launched a new taxi service for its consumers, called the Petal Travel app. As the name suggests, the app helps users quickly get a taxi in the country.

Although this app requires users permission to work effectively. Since it is a taxi service, he prefers Petal Maps for travel advice. At the same time, it works on an internet connection and needs information about the device, network, application operation, location, and account information in order to provide a favorable user experience.
